The diving center is located on the seaside, in front of the Sunset Boulevard parking. Only 50m away from Beach of Grand Baie and 5-minute drive from Mont Choisy beach of Preybre.

Mauritius can generally be described as a macro-lovers paradise with some big animals in the mix. Compared to other Indian Ocean locales, the reefs might seem a little barren due to frequent cyclones and over-fishing. But the best parts of these reefs are the small stuff. Sunset Diving

Sunset Diving offers apartments for their customers. They also work with Baystone Boutique Hotel & Spa (5*), Seapoint Boutique Hotel (4 *) and Mont Choisy Coral Azur Beach Resort (3*).

Apartments

They currently have a studio for 3 people max, a one bedroom apartment for 4 people max, and very soon a 2 bedroom penthouse for up to 6 people will be ready.

• Number of Diving Sites :44 SITES FROM 9m TO 60m
• Best Season: From October to April diving all year round
• Water Temperature: Minimum 24 C and maximum 30 C
• Fauna, Flora, Cave, Wreck: 5 wrecks, gorgognes, barracudas, sharks, corals, stingray, turtles and many more.

Exploratory Dive

• Exploration diving is diving without the purpose of learning. So you must already be certified or in the process of being certified, and therefore know the basics of diving.
• With your monitor, dive and explore the seabed, admire corals, turtles, multi-colored fish and all that the sea of Mauritius has to offer.
• Usually, the morning dives are for experienced divers, minimum N1 or open water.
• The afternoon dives are open to all and the dive site is chosen based on beginner divers.
• In the morning, the meeting is at 8:30 at the local to equip and the departure is at 9: 00. All our trips are in two tanks (2 dives per outings). The second dive is not mandatory. We dive at the ships departure, on reefs, wrecks, out of the lagoons.
• In the afternoon, the appointment is at 2 pm and the departure is at 14:30.
• Reservations have to be booked 24h before departure.
• The services of a professional are included for all framed dives.

Seabob Diving

• Discover the SEABOB Diving in EXCLUSIVITY in Mauritius. Swim like a dolphin during your dive.
• NO SPECIAL CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED: Open Water or L1 divers are eligible.
• Now you can navigate through the water like a dolphin. Freely, both at the surface and at depth. At the same time, the SEABOB is totally respectful of the environment when it is in its element. He zoomed powerfully and silently through the water. It is easy to use and very agile.

First Dive

The First Dive is an initiation to scuba diving (discovery of fauna and flora, getting used to the diving equipment).

Safari Outings

• Sunset Diving's safari outings offer 2 dives on Coin de Mire or Flat island followed by a picnic on Flat island and its beaches.
• Coin de Mire
• At an average depth of 6 meters and crystal water with high visibility. Diving conditions are ideal all year round.
• Dive at Coin de Mire and have amazing views on the reef, the fish and lots of corals. Youll explore the flora and colorful Coin de Mire reef which is absolutely beautiful.
• The reef is home to several fish species which include Damselfish, butterfly, small Pipefish fish and big fish trumpets. In addition, with a bit of luck, you can see turtles and dolphins when snorkeling.
• Flat Island
• The Flat Island is located near Round Island, in the extreme north of the island of Mauritius, about 11 kilometers north of Cap Malheureux.
• Flat Island is the largest of the Islands in the North. As its name suggests, it is almost flat, but however has a large hill, rising a lighthouse. The vegetation is strongly modified. In
• the North of Flat island is the Rock Pigeon, a wild and steep side.
• The island platform is well known to divers with mask and snorkel and offers superb diving sites. Admire the crystalline turquoise blue water and the beautiful beaches.
• Their Safari outings also offer 2 dives with Sharks.
• The Shark Dive
• Located at the foot of the Rocher aux Pigeons, north of Flat Island, this dive spot got its name from the presence of a lot of White-Tip Sharks.
• This is an outstanding and very popular dive spot that gives the divers the opportunity to observe sharks whirling in their natural environment.
• The White-Tip Sharks are not aggressive with divers. It is advisable to not disturb them and to respect their environment. Vigilance is nevertheless advised and it is absolutely recommended to dive with professionals having a perfect knowledge of the site.
