Dive Sites

Here are some of the best dive sites in Cancun, minutes away from the dock.

• La Herradura (Intermediate) - This beautiful reef is just 10 minutes away from our dock, the slight current runs with the reef making a beautiful easy dive in a healthy living environment. 55ft/16mts
• Underwater Museum (Beginner) - This museum is an artificial reef made of 403 human statues by the British sculptor Jasn deCaires Taylor. It was opened on November 26, 2010, with the aim of diverting the impact on the other reefs, promoting their regeneration and thus their conservation. These intriguing sculptures are art pieces in the process of becoming a new home for coral, fish and other species. 30ft/9mts
• Wrecks C-55/58 (Advanced) - These two gunboats were sunk 13 years ago by the Mexican Army and are now artificial reefs colonized by different species of large fish; as well as the annual visit of eagle rays that migrate in the winter months. The wrecks can be penetrated. We only dive these sites with good weather conditions. 90ft/27mts
• Manchones (Beginner) - Without a doubt the most representative and beautiful reef in the area. This spot has no current and plenty of healthy coral, medium-sized fish and turtles can be seen. We normally dive on this site after the Underwater Museum. 31ft/10mts
• Grampin (Intermediate) - This reef is located just 15 minutes away from our dock and usually has some current, filling the water with nutrients that attract schools of medium fish like barracuda and trevally. 55ft/16mts
• Chitales (Beginner) - This shallow reef is a beautiful spot with a great diversity of colorful fish. Next to the reef is a sea-grassland where it is common to find green sea turtles feeding. With a minimum difficulty level and excellent visibility, it is ideal for beginners. 25ft/6mts

Special Dive Sites

• Ultrafreeze - This wreck found at great depth has a lot of current and is ideal for extreme diving; large species like snappers, groupers, eagle rays, turtles and dolphins can be seen.
• Manta Valley - Manta Valley is a series of seamounts 60 miles offshore, north of Cancun. Giant mantas gather here and use the pinnacles as cleaning stations.
• Cenote Zapote Hells Bells - Unique formatios in shape of bells inside the zapote cenote, great for those who want to see something different and experience the true misteries of the mayan jungle
